In 2018, UTS will once again be sending one team to compete in the Baker McKenzie National Intervarsity Women’s Moot that will be held from 24 September – 27 September at the University of Sydney.
The Competition is aimed at addressing the equity issues facing women at the bar and is the only national moot in which all competitors must be female. The moot also provides an opportunity for female law students to gain advocacy experience and network with eminent legal practitioners who will judge the moots.
The Moot question will be on torts and/or criminal law. The question will be released on 8 August 2018, with Appellant written submissions due 31 August 2018.
