Appointment of Tipstaff to NSW Court of Appeal

 

Applications are open for the position of Tipstaff to Justice Alsopp, President of the NSW Court of Appeal.

 

The appointment will commence in late January 2011 for one year, with a second year in the position of a researcher. As such the primary duties will be to assist the President with court-related duties and research, which will involve substantial time in court.

Gilbert & Tobin - Postgraduate Conference in Public Law

 

The Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law is holding a free postgraduate conference on public law to give students studying in this area an opportunity to present their work.

 

Abstracts are invited from currently enrolled postgraduate research students studying in the fields of constitutional and administrative law as well as human rights protection, native title and Indigenous land rights, terrorism, federalism, refugees and migration law, electoral law as well as students engaged in political studies.
