The Competitions Volunteer Reward System is the UTS LSS’s way of showing appreciation to students who give up their time to volunteer as a witness, client or timekeeper for our junior and open competitions throughout the year.
How it works
Each student will earn one volunteer point for each round of witness examination or client interviewing they volunteer in. At the end of the year, the ten students with the highest point score will win a prize. Five of these prizes will go to volunteers for Witness Examination, and the other five will go to volunteers for Client Interviewing.
At their discretion, a director may also reward an extra point to an exceptional client/witness.
Prizes you say?
The prizes for volunteering may range from tickets to UTS LSS events, UTS LSS merchandise, or entertainment vouchers. The five prizes will be tiered according to point score, with the student with the highest points receiving the highest value prize.
The prizes for 2017 will be announced close to the end of the Spring Semester.
How do I claim competitions volunteer points?
The Witness Examination/Client Interview Director will be responsible for keeping track of the volunteers for each round.
