"One Night in Emerald City" - Robyn Nevin supporting the Anti-Slavery Project

The Anti-Slavery Project at the University of Technology Sydney is a unique, vibrant and creative legal and research centre dedicated to eradicating human trafficking in Australia and in our region.

Playwright David Williamson is recreating his 1987 classic "Emerald City" with a 2010 adaptation commenting on current affairs, politics and popular culture; for a one-night only performance. For "One Night in Emerald City" eleven notable celebrities from a variety of backgrounds take the stage, each of whom will be supporting a charity of their choice.

Robyn Nevin has elected the UTS Anti-Slavery Project as her charity of choice.

As well as Robyn, cast members include: Ian Thorpe, Lucy Bell, Ita Buttrose, Mikey Robins, John Singleton, Fiona O'Loughlin...and many other famous faces. The night will be MC'd by Amanda Keller and Jonathan Biggins.

There are two opportunities to get involved and help support the Anti-Slavery Project:

1. Tickets to the performance are on sale now! Tickets are $100 each or $200 for premium tickets (50 available). Tickets are on sale through the Sydney Theatre
2. Sponsorship packages are available! Event organisers are seeking corporate sponsorship for each of the characters, and if Robyn Nevin is supported then ALL sponsorship proceeds will be directed to the Anti-Slavery Project at UTS. Character sponsorship packages range from $10,000 to $20,000 and sponsors will receive a host of benefits including acknowledgement on the event website and theatre program, theatre tickets, and tickets to the exclusive after party which is for only 100 people.

If you or someone you know of might be interested in event sponsorship, please contact Hannah Bone (UTS Development Manager).
