The UTS LSS is committed to keeping the conversation about mental health going and inaugural The Dialogue was created and published in 2015 to that end.
The sad truth is that law students and lawyers experience intense levels of psychological distress throughout their lives and careers. Depression, anxiety, suicide; we are all more susceptible to it by choosing to pursue this profession. The Dialogue seeks to maintain an overarching message: there is a bigger picture, despite the multitude of things that can get us down.
The Dialogue is quintessential guide for all things health and wellbeing. It contains articles that tackle prominent issues such as depression, anxiety and suicide. There are also useful sections on work-life balance, ways to de-stress during exam time and services available to LGBTQIA+.
