“Superheroes. Confetti. Fairy wings and bubbles. These were just some of the things that coloured the visit to Westmead Children’s Hospital Visit. Its significance cannot be understated, and I strongly recommend the event to incoming law students, and current students to dedicate a single day to volunteering one’s time for a truly selfless act of compassion” (UTS Law Student, Sidnie Sarang)
The UTS Law Students’ Society and Brennan Justice and Leadership Program provides the opportunity for UTS Law students to visit Westmead Children’s hospital and bring some happiness to those who may be in need of some laughter.
The visit will take place during the Autumn and Spring Semesters and will require students to dress up in colourful costumes as well as run activities for the patients. This event provides the perfect opportunity to put on a smile on children’s faces and give back to the greater community.
Participants will be entitled to have their hours volunteered accredited to the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program as Leadership through Service Hours.
